Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between lip blush and lip neutralisation?

Lip blush adds colour, defines shape and can correct asymmetry to pale pinky lips. Lip neutralisation aims to balance and brighten cool toned lips (purple, grey, brown, black).

How long does lip blush last?

Lip blush can last between 1-3 years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.

Can I choose the color of my lip blush?

Yes, during your consultation, you can discuss your desired colour with your technician, who will help you choose a shade that complements your natural lip colour and skin tone. Please send or bring in your everyday lippies!

Can I get lip blush if I have lip fillers?
Yes! Lip blush and lip filler actually go hand in hand as most fillers contain hyaluronic acid (HA). HA can help the lips retain hydration and therefore can actually prolong results!

How long after can I get lip blush/filler? Which one should I get first?

We recommend lip blush first as you may find you may be happy with your results without filler. Please allow 4 weeks in between procedures.

Can lip blush make my lips bigger?

Yes and no. While we cannot add real volume with lip tattooing, we can provide the illusion of fuller looking lips by shaping and defining the lip borders.

I'm afraid of pain. Will it hurt?

Most clients find it comfortable! Numbing is applied throughout the procedure.  Pain levels can be minimised by adhering to pre care.

Do I need a touch up?

Yes, a follow up session is highly recommended as it is rare clients heal perfectly. Many factors contribute to healed results such as; how your body responds to the pigment and individual aftercare.
