A lash lift may not be suitable for clients with the following:

  1. Medical or Eye Conditions:

    • Eye infections (e.g., conjunctivitis, styes)

    • Blepharitis or recent eye surgery

    • Trichotillomania or lash loss conditions (e.g., alopecia)

  2. Allergies or Sensitivities:

    • Known allergies to perming/tinting products

    • Highly sensitive eyes or skin

  3. Lash Health:

    • Over-processed, short, or sparse lashes

    • Damaged lashes from frequent treatments

  4. Other Considerations:

    • Pregnancy or breastfeeding (unpredictable results due to hormones)

    • Contact lenses (should be removed during the procedure)

Preparing for a lash lift and tint can help ensure the best results. Here are some pre-care tips you might consider:

  • Avoid Eye Makeup:

Do not wear mascara, eyeliner, or eyeshadow for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Clean, makeup-free lashes ensure the best results.

  • Skip Waterproof Mascara:

Avoid waterproof mascara for at least 48 hours prior, as it can leave a residue that’s difficult to remove.

  • No Eye Creams or Oils:

Avoid applying oils or creams near your eyes before the treatment. These can interfere with the lifting solution.

  • Remove Contact Lenses:

If you wear contact lenses, remove them before the appointment to avoid irritation.

  • Stay Hydrated:

Drink plenty of water and stay relaxed during your appointment.

POST-CARE

  • Avoid Moisture for 24 Hours:
Keep your lashes dry and avoid water, steam, or sweating for the first 24 hours. This includes avoiding saunas, swimming, and hot showers.

  • No Eye Makeup:
Do not apply mascara, eyeliner, or eyeshadow for the first 24 hours.

  • No Rubbing or Touching:
Avoid rubbing or touching your lashes to maintain the lift and tint.

  • Skip Oils:
Avoid oil-based makeup removers or skincare products around your eyes, as these can weaken the lift and tint.

  • Sleep on Your Back:
Try to sleep on your back to prevent lashes from getting misshaped while they are setting.

  • Use a Lash Serum:
To keep your lashes healthy and nourished, apply a lash serum as recommended by your technician.

  • Regular Maintenance:
A lash lift and tint typically lasts 6-8 weeks depending on your natural lash cycle. Book your next appointment accordingly to maintain the look.
